Summary
Scan by Arxeni does not require accounts, logins, saved projects, paid subscriptions, analytics dashboards, or database-backed dynamic redirects in this version. The tool creates static QR codes and optional static QR Hub links from the information you provide.
Information you enter
You may enter text, URLs, QR Hub destinations, colors, logo files, and QR images for identification. This information is used to generate previews, exports, QR Hub links, and decoded scan results.
QR Hub data is encoded into the generated hub URL hash. That means the destinations are part of the URL itself. Anyone who receives or scans that QR Hub code can access the destinations you included.
Files and camera access
Logo uploads and QR image uploads are processed for preview, export, or QR identification. Camera scanning starts only when you click the camera control and your browser grants permission.
Camera access is used to read QR codes from the live video feed. The scanner should be stopped when you leave Identify QR mode or click Stop. Do not upload or scan private material unless you are comfortable using it in the tool.
Server processing
The local QR endpoint receives the text or URL needed to render QR images and QR matrices. The endpoint is used to create the code structure for preview and download. This version does not add a database for saving generated QR codes.
What this version does not do
- No user accounts are required.
- No generated QR projects are saved in a database.
- No dynamic redirect service is used for static QR codes.
- No built-in scan analytics are provided in this version.
- No QR destination history is stored by the app.
Third-party links
QR codes and QR Hub buttons may point to third-party websites. Those websites are controlled by their own owners and may have separate privacy practices. Scan by Arxeni is not responsible for the privacy behavior of external destinations.
